On Right Networks, there are potentially two different types of backups: The automated backups that are created by the Right Networks system on a nightly basis.
These files are not stored in your Right Networks-accessible storage drive, but are stored on secure servers for 90 days; when a file reaches 90 days old, it is deleted and replaced with the newest backup copy.
This process does not require you to do anything, and runs every night. Our 24x7 US-based Technical Support staff can assist you in retrieving these backups if the need arises.
Non-automated backup files created by the QuickBooks software. QuickBooks will then create a backup copy of your file and save it to the Right Networks-accessible storage drive of your choice. You will also receive periodic reminders from the QuickBooks software that you have not performed this process in a while, asking if you would like to make a backup.
Bear in mind that our automated system is already making backups for you nightly, so it is not required that you make manual backup copies. In Right Networks, click on the Start button and select Computer. This will display your Right Networks-accessible storage drives. Since the storage location for manual backups is determined by the person creating those files, they could potentially be found in either the H: or the I: drive. Double-click the drive to display its contents. These files will NOT be removed from the system.

In the future, the easiest way to make sure you're in the regional section of the community you need is to check the flag at the top of the community. Downloading the W9 form for vendors isn't possible in QuickBooks Desktop. However, you can manually enter your contractor's information in the contractor's profile.
In terms of downloading vendor bill attachments from QuickBooks Desktop, this option unavailable. That folder needs to be with my backup, and it should go there automatically.

At this time, QuickBooks doesn't include Attached Documents when you create a backup. We advise our users to make a manual backup of the Attach folder which can be found in the same location as your QuickBooks company file. In your situation, I suggest for you to paste the Attach folder into the same location as your restored company file.

My customer is running QB and has multiple company files as he has restored from backup on several occasions and it had broken the link in the attach files.
They populated in the document center but were unreachable. They also showed as attached to any invoices when looking in their register etc. When I clicked in the document center all of the files came up and the scans were there, however when looking in the register all file attachments were missing and no longer with the transactions.
Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is there even a way to have to do this? Most probably this issue is caused by recovering a backup file which has damaged links and created a backup. I backed up my QB file and the "Attach" folder. I then restored my backup to a new unique folder and moved the "Attach" folder into the same folder where my restored QB file is located.
If I go to the Doc Center, all my supporting documents are there over When I go to an individual invoice, however, the attachment paper clip is not shown. When I clicked on "Repair Links" I got the following message "This doesn't look like the right Attach folder for your company file". I looked inside the Attach folder and the sub-folder with the documents was labelled "TXN". I changed the name to match my company file, but the result is the same.
